- Nava Manisra Alkalay was born in Phuket, Thailand. After finishing her early education in Bangkok, she traveled all over the world, working in her family's international jewelry business. She moved to New York City in 1989, where she met her husband Ron. After she moved to Atlanta, she began her training in massage therapy at the Rising Spirit Institute of Natural Health. She then finished her training in Reiki, and traveled back to Thailand to study traditional Thai Yoga Massage at Wat Po massage school.Nava Sen Spa was opened November 18, 2007.
